A Style Inspiration Blog for young girls and tweens! Created by two sisters, along with their mom to share their passion for stylish and age-appropriate clothing for Girls. Gracie and Lily have been modeling for a few years now, and thought it would be fun to share some of the wonderful clothing brands we've been fortunate to work with as well as some of the places we travel to! Our hope is to inspire young ladies to seek adventure, love what they wear, and develop their own sense of style!
Bohemian Cowgirl in Joyfolie
Lace has withstood the test of time when it comes to fashion, but you don't have to be royalty to wear it! This gorgeous red dress by Joyfolie, was our inspiration for a look we like to call "bohemian cowgirl." A little princess, a little cowgirl and there you go... A unique and beautiful vibe all it's own.
We most often think of white or ivory when we think of lace, but it was love at first sight when we laid eyes on this red dress. As our beloved Audrey Hepburn says "There's a shade of red for every woman." This dress is even more stunning in person if you can believe it. The details are gorgeous and the soft lining of the dress makes it so very comfortable for young girls.
Accessories can take a dress to a whole new level. We think a hat truly makes this look, when it comes to the bohemian cowgirl vibe. It's subtle neutral color doesn't take anything away from this beautiful lace dress. A perfect match in our book.
Let's face it, some girls would rather wear boots than a fancy dress shoe, and boots are a must-have for our bohemian cowgirl. Again, we love a neutral with our bold red dress but it doesn't have to be a cowgirl boot. Make it your own, try a suede bootie or knee-length boot. Even a great pair of gladiator sandals would look amazing with this outfit.
Last but not least, don't forget about long messy curls or loosely braided hair for this look. That is the finishing touch for our bohemian cowgirl. She's a no muss no fuss kind of girl, and lets her hair blow in the wind without a care in the world!
We absolutely loved shooting these beautiful swimsuits in Laguna Beach with Anna Simone of Chance Loves Swim. Anna and her daughter Chance set out a few years ago to better the swimsuit needs for tween/teens, and they have definitely succeeded. Chance Loves Swim has quickly become a global brand and truly our favorite swim wear line! We're excited to share some of the lovely looks we modeled while in California this Spring. We think you'll love them as much as we do (click on the swimsuit name below the photo for direct link to site). Visit chanceloves.com to see even more!
