Shooting for Joyfolie in Portugal

Last Fall, we had the amazing opportunity to travel to Portugal to shoot for one of our absolute favorite brands, Joyfolie.  It was a beautiful adventure in so many ways.  From the people we met, the to scenery we saw, to the food we ate and the dresses we modeled, it was truly magical.

  The Joyfolie team made sure we were bundled up behind the scenes.  Lily became really good at disappearing/napping under piles of coats and blankets in between shoots.  The wind was chilly to say the least, but so worth the beauty Kim Carrier was capturing around Lisbon.


       

 These tiled walls in Portugal are simply amazing.  We saw beautiful walls and gorgeous doors around every corner, it was so much fun just walking around the city and finding these treasures.



                                                 

One of our favorite parts of the trip was discovering sweet treats around the city, we're talking THE best cappuccinos and gelato!  We also squeezed in a cooking class at the end of our trip to learn how to make pastel de nata (portuguese custard tarts).  Ahhhmazing!




There are so many beautiful locations to shoot in Portugal. Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastary were extraordinary.  It was so fun making new friends and exploring with the Joyfolie team.


                                                 
Our favorite spot had to be the Castle of the Moors in Sintra, Portugal.  What an amazing location.  The girls modeled some of the most gorgeous dresses and saw some of the most breathtaking scenery that day.  





The Joyfolie team is such an amazing group of women, they are so dedicated, kind and loads fun.  We loved our time with them and making friends with the other lovely models on our trip.  It was an experience we will not soon forget.

Chance Loves Swim

Beach weather is finally here and we are so excited to share some gorgeous swimsuits with you!  We partnered with  Chance Loves Swim  to bring you three of our favorite bikini styles this season.  This southern California based company was started by 12-year old, Chanel Elle Colette, and her mom.  "T ogether, they design collections of fun patterns and flattering styles, offering girls of all shapes and sizes just about every possibility under the Sun."
